| Corvalent
MORGAN HILL, California (1997) ----American Predator Corporation (APC) has released the preliminary design of the Hunter ATX™. The Hunter ATX is a high performance cost effective ATX platform industrial motherboard with exceptional expandability, reliability and easy upgradability for the OEM market. The Hunter ATX is specifically designed for industrial applications that require easy connectivity longevity, and flexibility to accept full-length standard or proprietary ISA and PCI adapters. The Hunter ATX can be used for diskless workstations in harsh environments that are subject to shock and vibrations. The solid state flash device is a Disk-on-Chip™ with standard 32-pin DIP package and TrueFFS (True Flash File System) technology which can replace a standard hard disk that is often subject to data errors and easily damaged under these conditions.
The Hunter ATX features four 32-bit PCI slots, four 16-bit ISA slots, two USB headers, ULTRA-DMA/EIDE capability allowing high speed data transfer and complete on-board I/O. The Hunter ATX design is based on the Intel® 430TX chipset and supports three on-board DIMM memory modules for a total up to 256MB on-board.
The Hunter ATX can be configured to accommodate all CPU speeds up to 400MHz-Core2. It can be used with any of the following microprocessors:
- Intel® Pentium® processors with MMX™ Technology
- AMD™ K5, K6, K6/2, K6/3
