New Corvalent Industrial Motherboard R68AX
Upgraded from Intel® Alder Lake to Intel Raptor Lake

You probably all remember our Alder Lake new industrial motherboard announcement last year, right? Delays in the supply chain and other issues forced us to keep the project on the backburner, allowing us to come up with some new ideas, including upgrading from Alder Lake to Raptor Lake! It is still the same Intel R680E chipset (or PCH), but now we are supporting both 12th and 13th Gen processors!

As we mentioned before, the new motherboard R68AX will support DDR5-5, 600MHz ECC and non-ECC memory, PCIE 5.0, and PCIe 4.0 slots and the Intel Core® technology that promises even higher performance. (1.36x in single thread, 1.35x in multiple thread compared to 10th Gen).

We also added enough USB3.x and USB2.0 ports to make everybody happy. And following the tradition of the W48AX (Comet Lake), we kept the usual suspects, like powered USB, multiple serial ports, POST diagnostic display, dual DP++, VGA and lots of fan headers. We also added dual 2.5GbE, a TTL-level serial port, and color LED voltage indicators for the powered USB.

The R68AX will support a long list of embedded processors from Celeron® to Core i9, standard (65W) and lower power (35W).

They will come standard with an AMI UEFI BIOS, which can be customized to meet your needs.

The R68AX is in the final stages of layout, and we are looking forward to getting our hands on the first production boards!!!
