Corvalent is honored for enabling manufacturing excellence

Austin, TX – March 19, 2018 Corvalent Corporation, a leader and manufacturer of long-life industrial motherboards and embedded PCs today announced that it has been recognized as a Manufacturing Leadership Awards winner for its outstanding achievement in enterprise integration and technology through their Macola 10 implementation project.

The winning Macola 10 implementation project enabled Corvalent to take advantage of Macola’s flagship ERP and business software, solving several software challenges that inhibited their manufacturing capabilities. This project provided a solution that enhanced traceability and visibility in every stage of the manufacturing process.

Macola 10 gives Corvalent the tools to better understand and focus on its core business, as well as improve customer interactions. Through automation, Macola 10 enables seamless reactions to business conditions with no human interactions, delays or lost documentation. Personalized workspaces join critical functions to perform a job – such as order processing – and reduce the amount of time spent on a task. According to Corvalent CIO Elcio Santos, “one of the most beneficial features of Macola 10 is the ability to create workspaces and receive real-time updates from the shop floor”, which the company has taken significant advantage of in the last year.

Corvalent Corporation will be recognized at the 14th Annual Manufacturing Leadership Awards Gala, which is to be held on the last day of the Manufacturing Leadership Summit, June 11-13, 2018 at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort and Spa in Huntington Beach, CA.

Nominations for the 2019 Manufacturing Leadership Awards will open in September 2018.
