These new computer systems are designed for industrial applications where server class computing power may be required, but operating conditions are not the ideal environment typically found in dedicated server rooms. A variety of systems have been developed depending on the intended function of the computer.

"A very large part of our business activity is centered around manufacturing complete turn key industrial computer systems for our clients." says Ed Trevis, CEO of Corvalent. "These designs give our new customers a starting point to see some of the options that are available, and allow us to tailor the various designs to their specific application requirements. For example, we have systems designed around our SB5000 motherboard with dual CPU sockets, and very powerful IO capabilities, but we also have systems built around our new Q57AXE and Q57AX series of motherboards that can accept Intel® Xeon, or Intel i7 series CPUs, for heavy number crunching and server class computing power." He goes on to say, "Many of our clients utilize our systems in mobile applications, such as news vans, or large off road industrial vehicle, so we've developed several rackmount systems that are very shallow, ideal for vehicle computer racks with limited space. These are great because they're able to get some real CPU horsepower in an extremely compact footprint, and under some very harsh operating conditions"
